Patio with Stairs

Patio landscaping has a dual mandate. Your outdoor living area should look great, but it should also be functional. Privacy, safety, comfort, and low-maintenance are four aspects of functionality in this case. When mulling over our choices for patio landscaping, sometimes it's easy to become fixated on the two-dimensional. But by including different heights in your designs, you open up a whole other dimension, making the outdoor living area much more interesting.

Outdoor Kitchens

As outdoor rooms and living spaces rise in popularity, so do cooking spaces—especially outdoor kitchens. Grilling and dining outdoors are the most common reasons for spending time in one's yard or space. Outdoor kitchen equipment can be added in modular units, starting with a grill, then adding appliances of your choice and features like counters and islands as your needs and interests grow.  Rose of Sharon Landscaping and Construction can design your outdoor living space with a 3D picture and staying in budget.

Yard Landscaping

A yard is an extension of what's going on inside our home, maybe more colorful, casual, fun, and without a ceiling to put a lid on our needs and desires. A skilled professional can guide you through the process of figuring out a style, deciding who will be using the yard, creating zones of activity and choosing materials and plants that will survive through New England weather will low maintenance.

Fire-Pit & Patio Project

An obvious place for a pit is in the backyard or adjacent to a patio, in a pea gravel area of a yard, near a pool or spa. Some custom-built pools and spas include fire and water features, but if yours does not, we can help.

With safety in mind, we will walk your property with you to select a site that is a reasonable distance from your house or other buildings, away from fuel storage, supply lines, and clear of low-hanging tree or shrub branches.  We then discuss size and materials and come back with a 3D picture of what the fire-pit will look like.  This way, we can make any adjustments prior to starting the project which will save our clients time and money.
